Stephen and Kelly's journey began with a shared dream of owning their own restaurant. From traversing coastlines to crossing oceans, their quest eventually brought them back to Virginia, where they crossed paths with Sharon. A visionary and passionate entrepreneur in her own right, Sharon harbored the same aspiration of owning a restaurant. Over time, she evolved into a dedicated partner and an integral part of their family.

ALIAS came into existence alongside the arrival of Kelly and Stephen's first child, Atticus. As Chef Stephen and General Manager Kelly join forces, their unwavering focus lies on delivering a memorable guest experience paired with delectable, locally sourced cuisine. Together, they strive to bring their shared dream to life.

Director Of Wine, Kenny Grandon

Kenny crossed paths with Stephen and Kelly during his five-year tenure at the Inn at Little Washington, where he held the position of Senior Cellar Master. Following his time there, he dedicated a year to developing the wine program at Goodstone Inn. Armed with 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kenny joined our team.

His passion lies in delivering world-class wine service without pretension, drawing from his extensive expertise and dedication to his craft.
